Weather Station with Photon RedBoard

Hi everyone,
I am new to electronics and I would like to make a weather station like https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/we ... nderground but instead of using the electric Imp I want to use another wifi module like the Photon Red Board(the one with the board). However my question is , is the code on the previous link going to work also for the red board?? The RedBoard is using the ATmega328 microcontroller with Optiboot (UNO) Bootloader while the Photon the ARM Cortex M3. Thank you in advance!
