Hello!
I'm using a Lilypad MP3 with a single output channel. It works great and I love it.
The amp chip (TPA2016D2) is able to provide 1.5W/channel at 3.6V with 4ohm speakers. I only have room for one speaker (4ohm 5 Watts RMS). And I'd like to use the extra 1.5W of the other channel, as it is not powerful enough for my needs now. Would plugging the speaker in parallel to both channels work? Would it have any drawback?
And should I leave the MP3 files as mono as they are right now or should I then use stereo MP3 with identical channels?
I'd like to have some advices on it before trying it and risking the board...

Thanks!
