Hello, first time poster here.
I have a project that I could use some guidance on. I have a device that is outputting what I think is a VGA signal. I have available analog RGB, clock, Hsync & Vsync. I need replace the screen with something more modern (the old screens fail regular and they are not available anymore). The original screen is a TFT 320x240.
I have a ILI9325 LCD that I would like to use for this application. Datasheet: https://cdn-shop.adafruit.com/datasheets/ILI9325.pdf
I am looking for the best way to do this. I have found an IC that seems to do this conversion readily (ADV7181C http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/609/ADV7181C-879124.pdf), but just wanting some input before I get too far down the rabbit hole. I have some circuit skills, though not as much as I would like. I do have the capability to prototype pcb's though. Can anyone provide insight here?
