I am making a fishing net out of this conductive thread https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11791 which will be part of a kinetic installation. The thread is very fuzzy, however, and sticks to itself almost like velcro. I need it to be smoother while still retaining its conductive properties for later projects. I have tried silicone spray, which doesn't work, and will try lanolin and fixative. Any ideas?

What do you recommend waxing it with? Bees wax?

No idea. That was the suggestion in the description of the product. I know nothing about it.
