Hello,
I am trying to hack a phone I bought for an art exhibition. I found this link and thought the tutorial was reasonable.

After following all the steps very carefully the connection was not succesful.
I have a feeling I might have gotten the wrong types of wire. The tutorial was not very clear about which kind of wire to get, so I bought bell wire. This might have been my mistake... but what do you think? I haven't done much wiring so I'm not totally sure about this.
Also:
this is my amp:

and my input is a mac computer
