Hello,
I am using a Sparkfun ESP8266 Thing Developer board, and wanted to serially read in data from an RFID transceiver. I found the espsoftware library on github (https://github.com/plerup/espsoftwareserial) but it doesn't seem to work for my board. I believe it is designed for the esp module and not the sparkfun board (even though they both have the same ESP8266 processor). Is there a software serial library that I am unaware of? or is this library suppose to work regardless.
I get really confused with the whole library ordeal.
