Hi i am working on a project right now that requires a hydrophone (PHOD-1) to pick up signals from a pinger and then transmit data into the main computer to determine which direction to go. However i will need to interface the hydrophone to a ADC but i have no idea how to start as i cannot find any info that i need in google.

You haven't specified the sample rate or bit depth needed to capture the ping. Nor a noise floor. Nor a peak output voltage.

If you register you should also be able to download a user manual. (I didn't)

Al it took was ask Google what it knew about the PHOD-1.
