The RN-52 bluetooth module sold by SparkFun has the interesting feature that it apparently supports S/PDIF input. I'm curious whether or not anybody has ever seen one of those cheap $5 modules you can buy places like DX or AliExpress that supports S/PDIF? For my current project, I'll probably just go with the RN-52, or maybe the BlueGiga WT-32 (the only other module I've found that supports S/PDIF, and at about the same price point), but I'm always interested in finding out what can be done on the cheap.
