WINPIC with K8048 devices.in

Post by prioryjim » Mon Oct 06, 2014 3:17 am

I am using Winpic programming software with K8048 hardware.
Supported devices are in devices.ini and apparently you can add new definitions as chips appear.
Questions
1) Anyone know of an updated devices.ini with new chips in it ?
2) Is there a better programmer than winpic that supports the K8048 board ?
3) I might consider an upgrade, anyone recommend a cheap alternative to winpic/K8048 ?

Thanks
Jim

Thanks for the reply.
PiCKIT3 is hardware I think, I may need that eventually.
Just down loaded PICPGM and that handles the K8048 and successfully re-programmed my 12F675 test
Thanks again
Jim
