Just wondering what questions everyone got?
'going by memory' - so don't quote me..

1. In an ADC @ 10 bit resolution, if vref is 3.3v and 2.2v is on the input what is the ADC conversion.

2. "voltage divider"

3. "Hex to Binary conversion"

4. "~b011001100"

1) the voltage divider one
2) convert hex to binary
3) how to use an IC on a breadboard

The contest ended before I could submit on #3, so that's all I got.

1st question: Convert (100)base2 into decimal: Answer=4

Lady Fortune smiled upon me by blocking the packets with my initial answer (8). I wasn't thinking straight. I thought, 3 bits, that's got to be 8. Because 3 bits make 8 possible values including '0'. But before 100b comes 11b which is 3 in decimal. And

1x2^2+ 0x2^1 + 0x2^0 = 2^2 which is obviously 4

So I'm very glad I had the chance to correct myself. Or else I'd have gotten nothing.

2nd question: What voltage comes out between 2 resistors of 1kohm set up in series as a voltage divider that is powered with 5 volt. Answer: 2.5 volt.

This answer never got through. So I don't know about the other 8.
