Arduino DUE interfacing, but no O/P in Serial window

Hi!
I'm using an Arduino Due with the Sparkfun Thermocouple Breakout.
I've interfaced it with the computer and I ran the code given on this website, but there is no output in the serial window!
Ps. The blinker program works in the Arduino Due, so I believe the interfacing isn't a problem.
