Redboard ISP Programmer pin direction#180537

Hi I have built the USBTinyISP AVR Programmer, and i want to program a Sparkfun Redboard. There are the 6pin ISP connectors, but i don't see any indication of what direction you're supposed to attach the cable. How do i tell which direction to attach the connector, or which pin is which?

I believe he's talking about the Redboard not being labelled.

It is, but it's hard to see. There's a small vertical line next to pin 1 on the silkscreen. Check the photo for the retired version:
