Hello ! :D

For our diploma thesis we are going to build a Quadrocopter, controlled by WLAN.
We would like to do this with an Arduino board and a WiFi Shield, however, possibly we are going to use the 32-bit chipKIT for Arduino instead of the common Arduino Uno. The chipKIT-Developers mention that their kit is compatible with many Arduino shields.

Did somebody already hear about chipKIT or do you know if the WiFly shield would be compatible with chipKIT?

Best regards from Austria! :)

Hi!

We couldn't find much more information to the chipKit, so we moved on to another development platform, the .NET micro framework. We are going to develop our project with a FEZ Panda II board.

However, we are still searching for a suitable WLAN module.
I posted another request to this topic on this forum: http://forums.leaflabs.com/topic.php?id ... #post-8032

There are a couple of WLAN modules out there, which would be compatible to any board. You should look for a WLAN module which do most of the TCP/UDP and lower layers for you. Just check out the WLAN modules from SparkFun.
