I got a Fio plus Xbee shields for wireless bootloading with my free day funds, and was planning to use it (finally) for a Halloween project.

I followed the wireless tutorial to the letter but could not get a connection to work. I have verified that the Xbee boards work in loopback, so i began to question the Fio itself. I've tried using my duemilanove as an ISP to burn the bootloader, but get an incorrect signature from AVRdude, but it won't say what the actual check code is, just that it's not correct. I don't have an FTDI cable laying around. I've tried piggybacking on the 3.3V power supply of the duemilanove, as well as disconnecting the 3.3V line and just tying the grounds together and using the Lipo battery to power the Fio. As I've never seen this work in the first place, I'm a bit lost as to how to proceed from here. Any suggestions?
