I'm looking to buy my first Arduino for a CAN and GPS project.

I have a few questions...

1) The Arduino boards that interested me are the Arduino Uno and the Arduino Mega 2560. Which one is compatible with these shields?

2) Can I use the two shield boards mentioned above a the same time connected to the same Arduino?

As a start you might want to look at the pins being used to see any overlaps. You can look at the pins being used by both shields here:
