Not sure the appropriate place on the forums for this question so I'll try here...

I recently purchased the HR2738 hot air rework station. There is a sticker on the top saying to remove the red "pump securing screw" from the bottom before use. There are no screws marked red on the bottom so I'm not sure exactly what to remove. There is one screw that seems out of place with the others. Can anyone comment on their experiences with this device? Should I remove this screw? Thanks!

Although I'm not familiar with that Rework station, I would think there would be a marked screw on the bottom.

Do not remove anything until the company who sold it to you can inform you of where the screw is located.

I would ask for a picture of the bottom of a unit with the screw indicated.

If Spark Fun was the supplier, they tend to be pretty fast with answers.

I have the same issue. There is no marked screw on the bottom of the unit. Did you get an answer?
