Is it possible to put an SMD component on the bottom layer in eagle? if so how? i cant seem to figure it out

Hi Chupa,

Place it as normal, but while you're moving it click on the 'Mirror' icon (looks like a 2x2 grid with half the squares shaded on the left side). That will automatically flip the part and place it on the bottom layer.

i normally keep the sparkfun tutorial open in a window when im working to use as a reference. i dident realize you could use the mirror thing for components as well as txt.
