Questions relating to designing PCBs

Good evening

Not sure if this is the correct section but the Resistor is connected to a board so worth a try

I have a battery charger that has stopped working I think i have found the culprit. I have no idea what I need to order as a replacement. I have uploaded the best picture I can the letters on the board are r16 https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZOjmBIh0BMaRE9BU2

I know what caused it to blow someone put two joined batteries on charge instead of charging them separately.

Any help would be amazing.

Thanks

Ian

Trace out the circuit if you can and see what the resistor was protecting.
Something is likely gone short and caused the resistor to go, best to find that.
Check the zener diode next to it.
