Copying schematic and getting boards copied too?

Hi,
New to Eagle so I may be missing something really simple. I want to copy a schematic from another project and can successfully copy the parts and connections from one schematic to another without an issue. However, when I go to the board view to do the layout I end up with multiple boards defined, one from each of the schematics I copied. It looks like the circuit I copy somehow has the board size associated with it and copies that as well. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Am I explaining it clearly enough?
