How to change the PCB footprint for a schematic symbol in Ea

I have a circuit with an included switch that will not be on the PCB but will have two connection pads on the PCB. How do I get eagle to do this? Also I want this circuit powered by an extrnal supply also connected by a power jack. How do I find a power jack component in the library that is the correct size?I have tried doing a number of searches but I get too many components to look through them all to find the component I want. Is there an easier way? Please help as I am just starting to learn Eagle
