Questions relating to designing PCBs

Hello,
I am using the BEAGLE_BONE_BLACK_CAPE from the Sparkfun library which has the outline of the cape on the tDocu layer. How can I indicate to a fab that I want that to be the edge of the board? Can I also use that profile as the edge of my GND pour?

Thanks,
Istvan.

You can change the layer type with the change tool.

Hello,

Having already wired up my board (except the ground pour), here is what my tDocu layer looks like: Image

I don't want to change the entire layer, just the outline of the board.

How can I extract that shape to use for the pour? And how can I use that shape to make a dxf (or is there a better way to indicate to a fab that I want that shape?)

You can use the copy and paste to get the outline for the ground pour. You select just one segment at a time to change it.. It's the button that has a wrench on it.. Select layer, then the dimension layer and click on the segments you want to change.
