Questions relating to designing PCBs

Hi, I'm new to Eagle. I have created a PCB (from scratch, ie not from a schematic), but now I want to rearrange some elements. To facilitate this task, I want to use the "group" command. However, when I try to group a set of elements, the command doesn't "pick up" all the elements even though they are all completely and entirely inside the grey "group" rectangle. After the attempted grouping, when I do a "move", only some of the "grouped" elements actually move, while others don't. Does this ring a bell to anybody? What could be the issue? Read a lot of Eagle related stuff online, but couldn't find an answer. Thanks in advance. Mario

Agreed, you need to have all the layers showing to be able to move everything.

Thanks for your replies. It turned out the problem was more fundamental: I need to press Ctrl while clicking on the group. As said: I'm new to Eagle
