The latest Sparkfun Eagle Libraries Master has three sets of capacitive touch buttons:
SparkFun-Electromechanical/CAPSENSE_PAD
SparkFun-Sensors/TOUCH/TOUCH
SparkFun-Sensors/TOUCH/TOUCH2

Is there a tutorial for how to use them?

What do you mean "how to use them?" Are talking about hooking it up or adding it to your schematic?

Pretty much, yes. My limited understanding is that there are two types of capacitive touch buttons; projected self capacitance and projected mutual capacitance, and that they are different both in how they're done on the PCB and in how they're connected to the MCU. Is that correct?

This doesn't tell me anything..
