Questions relating to designing PCBs

Hi all,

i got a simple question for all the experts around. have some TQFN-56 ICs with me (maxim DS3690) and am need to do testing on the breadboard. however, all the QFN to DIP pcb in the market are all for square sized QFN and TQFN to DIP pcbs. so i guess i have no choice but to design the board itself.

I have downloaded Eagle CAD and its libraries at
http://www.element14.com/community/docs ... e-software

i've search through the database and found this packaging QFN50PX500X1100X80-57N ( MAX4936)
so based on the datasheet of both DS3690 and MAX4936, maxim listed both with the same outline no, 21-0187. so If i'm correct, i can use the MAX4936 footprint for the DS3690 design right? please correct me if i'm wrong.

are there any other suggestions besides doing the PCB itself so that i could test these chips?

Thanks guys.
