Hi everyone,

I tried to use the SparkFun-LED.lbr file on eagle 6.5.0 but it keeps saying the file is not an eagle valid library, does the file work with you? thanks

I find out a while back that Github has a problem saving files from there. If you tried to "save link as" it won't work. You have to highlight all of the code or you can click the "Raw" button to open it in a new window and right click>Select all. Copy the code, then open the original SparkFun-LED.lbr from the install. Highlight the entire code and paste it. Then save.

Thanks for the explication.

I did it and the strange thing is that I can open the library and see the components in the library, but I cannot find the components in the add a part menu they are not there...

any idea?

Did you make the library active? On the Control panel, expand Libraries go down to the end of the list and right click and select "Use."
