I have been using eagles attribute features to add DigiKey part numbers to parts and then exporting a BOM with the BOM ULP. When I use a specific friction lock pin headers I want to add the mating connector and pins to the schematic so they will show up when I generate a BOM. They will not be part of the board design. I have made some "dummy parts" with just a schematic symbol and no footprint but when I use those and add a part number attribute it still does not show up when I generate a BOM.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a different way to accomplish this?
