Questions relating to designing PCBs

Hi experts,

I'm using Altium for my PCB artwork and have entered supplier and part numbers for each part on the schematics. That allows me to get a BOM out with everything I need to complete a board order.

I'm interested to know what other folks are doing to keep track of board configurations/revisions and stock on hand of components and completed boards. I figure there are some CRM type solutions for this thing but dont know what is used by pcb designers to manage their work?

thanks.

I use InFlow Inventory manager. Nice and easy program. http://www.inflowinventory.com/

For Board artwork and BOM, I just use Eagle's file system. I have it organized from board usage.
