EEPROM and Eagle

Hi all,

I've search up and down (in places like http://www.esawdust.com/blog/eagle/eaglepartsearch.php and http://www.cadsoftusa.com/downloads/lib ... anguage=en) and I cannot seem to find parts for parallel EEPROMs. I need the usual 28C256 and so on that Atmel offers. Eagle comes with EPROM (the 27C256 and so on) but they are not pin compatible with the EEPROMs (28Cxxxx).

Is there any place that might offer Parallel EEPROM parts library for Eagle?

Thanks in advance,
Vlad.

I don't have an answer for your question, however, you should just make the part in Eagle yourself!

It's easy to do and there are lots of tutorials available for free that illustrate how to do it (even Sparkfun has one). I'd even wager that in the time you spent looking for a library that had it, you could have made it yourself 4 times over.

^^ Agree. I've made dozens of parts myself. just grab the data sheet and start copying. Very easy to do.
