USB-MIDI Encoder

Post by tittualex » Thu Sep 25, 2014 10:20 am

Dear All,

I am a newbie to this forum.

I am planning to make a MIDI keyboard and I have seen a lot of schematics for MIDI encoder / MIDI USB interface separately. But I would like to know whether these two can be combined together into one PCB with a single PIC microcontroller. If so please share your design.

regards,

Alex

I see this is a post from last year that I missed. I have a PCB layout that uses a piggy backed UBW32. This design will 'midify' up to four 11x6 or 8x8 matrix keyboards and additional controls using I2C boards. See the Virtual Organ page at http://www.kinkennon.com and search for 'Allen Organ MIDI' at OSH Park to find the PCB.
