Is there a way to use a generic display to show the MicroMod's accelerometer values? Looking for a method besides the addition of the Input and Display Carrier Board.

Sure; use this example https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/mi ... elerometer it outputs over serial by default; use any serial LCD to simply display them (this is a good option https://www.sparkfun.com/products/16398 ... uWEALw_wcB)

You could also combine other code/a more complex display, or the mentioned input/display board
