the kicad software

how comes my kicad software is not moving from the schematic to the PCB layout and routing area? for the last two projects, i have tried using my kicad 6 to design my PCBs but the outcome is a failure. I have to go back to kicad five to make this work well.

You're probably not going to get an answer in the À La Carte (ALC) forum since ALC does board design for you.
This sounds like an excellent question to ask in kicad's own forums.
