Hi

I have an Artemis Thing Plus and want to measure the current draw. I've done a search on the forum but can't find anything specific. Essentially I'm not sure where to measure across.

I'd just use this https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15571 or similar; I don't have an Artemis Thing Plus on-hand but my Artemis OpenLog is peaking ~41mA during a basic SD read/write cycle

you need to measure in line with your power source, not across anything.
So multimeter connected to + on battery and + on artemis. Battery GND connected to artemis GND.
