I'm doing my project using GM862 evaluation kit usb version.I wish to know what is the classification for the GPS antenna that come with the GM862 evaluation kit.WHy is it cannot get GPS signal when the module is inside a building or not in an expose area??any microwave pro can help me with this???is it cause by the antenna is just a normal but not an expensive one so that it cant get the signal in the building??

I think it's more a function of the GPS receiver. More sensitive receivers are available that work indoors and in difficult urban environments, like those made by u-blox.

So do you have any idea on increasing the sensitivity of the receiver???From what i know is there is some classifications for the antenna...which class is mine??
