Hello! I have a question about the EM-408 GPS module. My ultimate goal would be to use the patch antenna internally in my notebook, and take the external antenna jack out to a connector for a higher gain antenna. Unfortunately though, I don't have an unshielded mounting location inside the notebook big enough for much more than the patch antenna itself. Has anyone tried removing it from the module so that it could be mounted a few inches away?
