I've been using the Sarantel embedded helical antenna for a few GPS projects, but it is relatively expensive. I would like to try the new chip type antennas due to cost and size factors.
Looking at the available LNAs, it seems that for indoor or obstructed use, gain needs to be 25dB+. Has anyone tried the new UPC8215TU from CEL? It looks pretty hot, but seems tough to find. Anything else out there wirth checking out?
