I need to connect RS232 Shifter SMD to oem gps board,
Do I need to connect the board TX to the shifter RX, and RX to TX...
Or the board TX to the Rs232 Tx and RX to Rx..??
Please advise.

You need to check the GPS data sheet. If it is configured as a DTE, RxD will be transmitting data and TxD will be receiving data.

Thank you for your replay,
I could not find any remark about DTE configurtion,
My gps bard is THALES ( MAGELLAN ) AC12.
