Tips and questions relating to the GPS modules from SFE

I'm trying to build the smallest GPS system i can using the ET-301 to fit into a wristwatch, and have decided to use the tiny patch antenna designed for the Lassen iQ. However, I can't find the hirose pcb connector anywhere - does anyone know where to find one?

Failing that, would I be able to just cut the cable and attach it to the PCB (using the same power and inductor circuit as the breakout board)? Or would that ruin the 'impedence matching', or whatever it is that requires a 50 or 75 ohm resistance in antenna plugs? I'm kinda out of my depth when it comes to RF.

Ideally the cable should connect to 50 ohm microstrip on the PCB (about 0.1" wide track over a ground plane with FR4). You could just solder the coax to the microstrip but it won't be very reliable. You might be able to get those tiny Hirose sockets from one of their distributors.
