Irregular timing on output

Hi,

Sorry, I'm pretty new to reading NMEA from a GPS chip, but when we start reading data from this guy https://store.uputronics.com/index.php? ... duct_id=83 using the defaults (9600 baud), the NMEA messages are "bunched" where they report about 10 seconds of sentences (looking at the message timestamps) over about 6 seconds, pause 4 seconds, and repeat.

I was assuming I'd get the messages "in real time" (1 message per second - in terms of the message timestamps)

Confused,
Steve

***umptions are a pain in the but.

It's configurable, so maybe you can turn some stuff off:

I don't know anything about this thing. So don't hold me on this being the only needed documentation to figure out. Just saying, there's stuff to read about how to operate that Ublox thing.
