adafruit + redboard

Hey im looking for reasons why the my adafruit gps shield is not turning on???? Could this be from me not using the arduino uno or maybe my soldering work??? And shouldnt the red board be compatible with almost arduino shields that the arduino uno is compatible with as well???

Why did you post the same questions twice? If you really want help, that's not a very good way to start off.
I just asked my 8-ball and it says that your soldering job is the issue.
