Hi all ...

Do you have some info how to setup a gps like rgm2000 via rs232

I need info of what to send to like this :

this if you like to have the GSV turn on
A0A200188102010100010101050101010001000100010001000125800135B0B3
and turn GSV off
A0A200188102010100010101000101010001000100010001000125800135B0B3

normal baus is 4800 for nema 183 i use 9600 baud and can use 38400 baud to
BUT how to innniatilize data on the gps setup the gps to send nema $GPGSV ?

It looks like the RGB-2000 uses the SiRF II chipset. US Global Sat. has documents that describe NMEA and binary commands you can send to the device.

You can also use a program called SiRF Demo to control the receiver.

Now I can read about it

I am building a micro gps tracker for cars to track if someboddy take it away by sending sms to start it so it send back sms whet lon lat time
