Hello

I bought the complet kit:

Now my question is if i can program the unit with the GPSCON.TXT file to display any date. This would be handy when driving arround for a couple of days.

these strings are allready present:

would be nice to have this one:

Is this a possibiltie?

btw i am a complete noob if it comes to electronics.. But a great php programmer so if finished with my scripts i will post them here.

Hi B83S
You have to have the lassen Iq evaluation board to program the receiver and change the NMEA sentences. The Logger only suports 2 sentences so I had to program mine with $GPGGA and $GPRMC to have position date and time. You have to keep $GPGGA otherwise it will not log anything as this sentence is the default parser.
I had the same problem and that is the reply i got from Spark Fun suport.
