Hi,

I'm trying to build a module that records time from a GPS module with audio recorded which references the time.

It needs to be able to record long durations of hours e.g. 100. If positional data could be logged and recorded concurrently this would be a bonus but not essential.

Are you trying to put the time, position and audio on the same recording media? What is the media? What is the fidelity of the recording? I could see a way to FM modulate the data and frequency shift it up in to the high frequency. But to not hear it, you would need to filter out the higher frequecnies leaving you with telephone quality audio.
