Disclaimer: I am new to arduinos
Setting up as recommended for the quick test as shown here http://www.sparkfun.com/tutorials/176 I cannot see any signal from the serial monitor (No NMEA sentences or anything). I have also tried adjusting the baud rate of the monitor but no dice. The GPS does seem to have acquired a satellite as evidenced from the blinking light but I cannot confirm without seeing a feed.
I've read here that 8mhz on the pro micro is too slow a rate to read from this particular GPS. Is this true? If so, is there a simple workaround?
