Any ideas if this thing can be setup to send some startup messages to the serial device or is it all one way? I'm thinking about using it with a Sirf receiver and I'd like to tell the receiver to switch to binary mode, then set it to emit NAV 28 messages.

Of course this can be done without too much work by manually setting it up before plugging it in, but it'd be neat to automate it. I'm trying to build something that can be left out in the field for days.

Any ideas how much power the logomatic needs? Is it dominated by the SD card, and can it do some power management?

hi!

I would like to know the precision of the ADC in bits. Also i was wondering what microcontroller it uses, because I would like to place a reference of time at the begining of each line so we can plot the value against the time reference.

The SD board certainly looks exciting. Are you planning some GPS boards to fit power,uart interface - will GPS tap power from the Logomatic?
