Tips and questions relating to the GPS modules from SFE

In the data sheet listed on this website pin 2 is labelled as VBAT (backup battery) and pin 3 is labelled as VDC (DC Power).
An updated datasheet from http://www.usglobalsat.com/downloads/en ... 2_v2.0.pdf
reverses these two connections with pin 2 as VDC and pin 3 as VBAT.

I have checked the current flowing through each of these when connected to a power supply. Pin 2 draws ~60mA, as set out in the specs. Pin3 only draws a tiny amount as would the backup battery.

Possibly to avoid confusion the new version of the data sheet could be uploaded onto this site.

I have actually gone over it again, and although the two data sheets disagree, it seems that the correct datasheet is already on the spark fun site, the one on the usglobalsat site which is labelled as version 2 is incorrect.
The error came about by how I was counting off the pins. The correct method is like:

3 4
5 6
7 8
9 10
11 12

Whereas my inital thoughts were it would be like
1 7
2 8
3 9
4 10
5 11
6 12
