Hi,

I currently use the VENUS634FLPx GPS receiver and communicate with the binary protocol. Everything seems fine as for now, but submitting the QuerySoftwareVersion command returns sort of random data. The checksum is always correct though. But the payload is different every time I submit this command. Everything else works just fine so I guess it's not "me".

Did you ever use the QuerySoftwareVersion binary command?

Problem solved, I didn't transmit the command properly. Still, it's surprising that the response had valid checksum but "random" content.

The check sum just tells you that you read the data off the serial port correctly, it dosn't mean that what was sent was the correct data.
