GE865 Breakout and SIM Card Failure#88304

Has anybody been able to get the GE865 Breakout board to work?

I get a SIM Card Error when sending the AT+CPIN? command. I have used the SIM card on a cell phone and a GE863 board so I know the SIM card is valid and operational. Any ideas?

there seems to be some kind of decoupling/filtering using capacitors on all sim card connections. have you followed that.

Yep, I'm using the GE865 breakout board and those caps are per Telit's specification. I am wondering how many people have gotten the GE865 board to work?

Hi teekay_tk,

I'm looking into sim card decoupling capacitors, trying to figure it all out. Do you have any info on sim card decoupling capacitor usage? (besides the link above?)
