hi,

just got the ubertracker and try to put it to work but no emails.

on hiper terminal:

interval = 1
logs = 1
GPRS_fail = 24
Mode = 1
Remote Address =
Remote Port = 0
Email Address = miguel_silva_cardoso@hotmail.com

Uber Tracker, Firmware Version 1.0, 11/29/07, WAAS enabled
===============================================
1) Change GPS lock interval, currently 1 minutes
2) Change number of logs per Email/GPRS report, currently 1
3) Reset failure log
4) Change remote server address, currently
5) Change remote server port, currently 0
6) Change mode, currently email, Google Maps links
7) Change email address, currently miguel_silva_cardoso@hotmail.com
9) Save and exit

I'm in Portugal and using a Portuguese SIM card;
I remove the GM682 and on hiperterminal I changed for Europe (AT#BND=0) : same result as before (GPRS_fail);

- does someone knows if it is possible to put it to work in Europe??
- can someone send me the source code??
- Is there a way to make it work by SMS??
- SOMEONE HAVE ANY IDEA THAT I CAN TRY?

If you send an email to the SFE guys they will send you the source code and schematics. Should have no problems using it in Europe, might need to check your GPRS settings, destination server IP address/port, etc. I don't have one myself so I can't tell you more than that.
