I recently purchased an Artemis Global Tracker. On first testing the unit ran on a 3.6V Li-ion battery for over 700 reports.
However, since then it transmits on the first attempt but then after several reports it stops transmitting.
I changed the code to include the modem diagnostics and it gives error code s7, 3 and 5. Code 7 is transmission timeout (probably due to poor signal) but 3 and 5 indicate problems with the communication to the modem or the modem not powering up correctly.
As I thought the problem may have been caused by changes I made to the code, I reloaded the original code but this has not solved the problem.
Do you have any suggestions?
