where to order PCBs from

Post by josh112 » Fri Jul 15, 2011 8:30 pm

g'day to all

im from australia and was wondering what a good place to order CHEAP prototype PCBs from is, any printed legends im not too worried about (think its a silkscreen - new to this).

using the BatchPCB one im looking at $60-$70 for a single board that MAY need refining although ive given it a look over 5 times already.

so any help greatly appreciated

I've looked for a long time, and BatchPCB seems to be the cheapest so far. You could try one of the chinese suppliers, like PCBCART.com, but they have high setup fees for the first run of each design. My recommendation, consolidate your order, so you run 4 or more designs at once...you'll save on the shipping and setup fees for batchpcb. 2.50USD/in^2 is the best I've seen for small run orders.
